Cool, talented Roy actually resigned from his 9-5 job after auditioning for the 4th season of Project Fame West Africa where he emerged 1st runner up, taking home 1.5M and a brand new car.
Presently signed onto Wahala Free Music, Roy is working on his debut album. His 1st single "Omalicha" which he released several months back has been doing fairly well both on radio and tv. Now Roy is back with another single "Tolotolo". The up tempo high life feel of the song will get you tapping and nodding in a few seconds. Enjoy it.
President Goodluck Jonathan has reversed the change of name of the University of Lagos which he renamed Moshood Abiola University in a broadcast to mark the 2012 Democracy Day.
Chairman, Governing Council of University of Lagos, Professor Jerry Gana disclosed this yesterday in Abuja during his inauguration alongside three others by the Minister of Education, Professor Ruqayyatu Rufai.
A part-time Business Administration Student of Lagos State Polytechnic, Miss Olayinde Bournes, 22, (pictured above) has allegedly been beaten to death by her boyfriend, Abuchi Cyril.
The incident happened yesterday Thursday February 21 at Shorinmade Street, Aguda-Ogba area of Lagos State, southwest Nigeria.
According to Miss Titilayo Fagbamila, friend of the deceased girl, she always complained to her that her boyfriend, Abuchi always beat her at the slightest provocation.
She said that on Thursday when the tragedy occurred, Abuchi invited Olayinde to his house along Shorinmade Street, to see his travel documents. Titilayo said nobody knew what happened when the lovers were together but it is believed that they had a misunderstanding which may have led to a fight.

Yesterday was exactly one week Goldie died, so her close friends and associates held a candlelight ceremony in her memory.
I still can't believe she is really gone. I was watching Soundcity TV yesterday when they played this Goldie's music video "Skibobo", sincerely, I didn't even know when I, without even thinking about it, bursted into tears. Watching her whine her waist in that video, gosh! Na so life dey?
So so sad really. Do rest in peace, dear Goldie.

The first phase of the Eko Atlantic City was inaugurated in Lagos yesterday at an event which attracted some top dignitaries. Former President of America, Bill Clinton attended the dedication ceremony of Eko Atlantic City where Jonathan described the project as one of the good stories of Nigeria.
Former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu and the Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola were among those who graced the occasion.
