Here's how Linda is telling the story.
After dating for almost a year and a half, actress Monalisa Chinda and business man Lanre Nzeribe have called it quits and this is authoritative.
According to sources close to the actress, Monalisa walked out of the relationship about a month ago. Why they really broke up is of course only known to both of them but I know there was a lot of disagreement about a business venture they were to start together.
Monalisa and Lanre were working on a magazine called Monalisa before their break up. They already got an office at Chase Mall on Adetokunbo Ademola street in VI, employed staff and even worked on the first edition of the mag before they went their separate ways.
There was pandemonium on Thursday when 15 premature babies who were earlier kept in incubators were abandoned and later discharged from the Federal Medical Centre Makurdi without prior notice, following the nationwide strike embarked upon by the Joint Health Sector Unions (JOHESU).
The various health unions in Benue State, including staff of the centre, under the aegis of JOHESU commenced an indefinite strike action on Thursday, due to the federal government's decision not to obey the ruling of the national industrial court on better welfare packages for them.
The situation caused all hospitals in the agrarian state to shut down to join their counterparts across the country. Mothers of the babies were seen crying and stranded not knowing where to go.
When LEADERSHIP visited the hospital, only medical doctors were seen on duty, but they could not adequately take care of patients as nurses and midwives, as well as other health staff, were all directed to observe the strike.

It may sound incredible but GzelleNews says it is true.
According to GazelleNews, the late founder and spiritual leader of the Christ Revival Victory Chapel International, Pastor Elijah Iretiola Ajanaku, might have belonged to the Oro cult in his lifetime.
Residents of Ikola Odunsi, where Ajanaku lived before he breathed his last on Saturday evening at Gbongan in Osun State, were surprised early Tuesday morning when Oro masquerades went to town in funeral rites for the departed ‘Pastor’.
The funeral rites which reportedly began at about 12.30am ended between 3 and 4am.The Oro worshippers chanted the name of Ajanaku throughout the night. The worshippers marched through the streets of Ikola Odunsi, Ikola Gbenaje, and landed at the deceased’s street, Folarin Williams Close. They were chanting, “Ajanaku lo, o di gbere”, meaning “Ajanaku is gone forever, adieu”.
Here's what Kanye told Kim's mum Kris Jenner on her show:
""I can have people saying this is going to damage your credibility as an artist or a designer, and I say I don’t care, I love this woman.
When the paparazzi surround you, people know you don’t like paparazzi , and they say "Why would you be with this person?" I’m being with this person because I love this person, and she’s worth it to me.
My grandfather just passed and his whole thing, it was never about money. It was never about popularity. His whole thing was joy and having joy in his life. She’s my joy and she brought my new joy into the world. There’s no paparazzi and there’s no blog comment that’s going to take that joy from me."
The incident happened at 1 Kotodayo in the Iyana-Iyesi area of Ota after Sadiq’s friend, Ibrahim (surname withheld), allegedly raised the alarm declaring that his male organ had disappeared.
According to Ibrahim, who was seen Unclad before some men, Sadiq had paid him a visit last night and deep into the night, he began to have s*x with him. When P.M.NEWS visited the scene, Ibrahim’s joystick was of normal size, but he was making efforts to make it turgid as a proof that it was fully restored.
Ibrahim, who is also a squatter in the house, alleged that it was the first time Sadiq would be visiting him. Though they have been friends for some time now, Ibrahim said he never knew his friend was gay until last night.
Sadiq, in a confessional statement to local vigilantes at the scene of the incident, said he has been homosexual for the past three years. He denied snatching his friend’s male organ, but said he had engaged only men in sex since then and further indicted a prophet whose white garment church is within the community as the one who prepared the concoction with which he engages in the act.
However, the prophet, who was invited by the vigilantes, denied the allegation. He said he had known Sadiq as one who never chased after women and did not know that the man was gay.
Neighbours said that the owner of the one-room apartment where the incident occurred lives and works in Lagos and only visits the place at weekends.
Sadiq was later whisked away by the vigilantes after much plea to stop beating him was rebuffed by the people of the area.
Nigeria is not in support of gay practice no wonder a bill has been approved setting 14-year-jail term for offenders.
