According to E! Online, they finally know what caused the heated elevator fight between Solange Knowles and Jay Z on the night of the 2014 Met Gala.
It turns out the family feuding, which was caught on tape and released earlier this week, occurred on the night of Monday, May 5, because Beyoncé's man got a little too close with designer Rachel Roy, who's the ex-wife of his business partner Damon Dash.
A source exclusively tells E! News:
"At the gala, Rachel was being flirtatious with Jay. Once everyone was at the Boom Boom Room for the after-party, her flirtations were elevated. Beyoncé approached
Whoopi Goldberg is known for speaking her mind – and earlier this week on The View, the co-host shared her honest thoughts on the Solange and Jay Z fiasco.
In a clip from Tuesday's episode, Whoopi said Jay would have been within his rights to slug Solange back for hitting him.
“I think Solange was quite ready for him to do whatever he was going to do. This is the thing: If anybody hits you, you have the right – I know that many people are raised in a different way – but if a woman hits you, to me, you have the right to hit her back.”When Barbara Walters asked Whoopi if it was OK for a man to hit a woman, Goldberg replied:
“If I slap a man, he has every right to slap me back. Every right.”Do you agree with her? Watch the video after the cut
The immediate past governor of Imo State, Chief Ikedi Ohakim and family escaped death by divine intervention in the early hours of Thursday as unknown persons bombed his private residence in Owerri and left the building in shatters. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the roof of the house and some parlours were damaged.
The former governor who was seen in the company of his wife, Chioma Ohakim told journalists at the premises that his security men called to alert him of the development. He said he had arrived Owerri in the evening of the incident from abroad where he went for a medical checkup, had wanted to sleep in the house but later decided to proceed to his country home in Okohia in Isiala Mbano local government to pass the night.
“At about 1.30a.m. my security men alerted that they heard a loud bang like an explosion followed by huge flames which engulfed the house. When I got here, I met the rubbles of what used to be my home. You are all aware, this is my only house in Owerri and it was built even before I became the governor. What it means now is that anytime I have to be in Owerri, I will be begging people for where to sleep in a state I once presided as a governor,” he said.
The former governor who condemned the destruction of his house, described the development as a ploy by his political opponents to deter him.
`I think what triggered this action is my intention to make a political statement on Saturday. I don’t know how they did it but I will leave that for the security agencies to investigate. When I was the governor of the state, I did not assassinate any opposition member, neither did I harass anyone. I even took care of the opposition in the state but they have done this to intimidate me. I will still go ahead and make my political statement as planned on Saturday because I refuse to be cowed by this incident,’’ he said.
However, the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Andrew Enwerem, said there was no evidence of an explosion at the scene. He said there was some damage on the building but that it was caused by fire.
According to an article on BBC, on 'Why Nigeria has not defeated Boko Haram', retired colonel and former UK military attache to Nigeria, James Hall, had this to say about our government:
"The trouble with the Nigerian government is that they want a big red button, which you can press and it will fix everything. I was asked by a senior commander if we could sell them the machine that can tell if a car driving down the road contains a terrorist. I tried to tell them that such a machine doesn't exist, but then they just thought we were hiding it from them."

After deleting dozens of photos from her Instagram following her fight with Jay Z, Solange Knowles marked Throwback Thursday today by posting this childhood picture of herself with her big sister Beyonce.
Solange's latest Instagram move comes just four days after the singer's fight video with Jay Z made waves across the Internet. In the days following the video's release, Solange promptly deleted multiple pictures of her sister from Instagram, which prompted speculation that there was a falling out between the two. Beyonce, however, had done the opposite and uploaded multiple pictures to her Instagram on Wednesday, of the two siblings enjoying happier days.
My name is Ada, I am married traditionally and my white wedding is coming up in September. I am a banker and my husband lost his job in February and since then I've been the one footing the bills.
Because of the nature and traffic in Lagos, I leave home as early as 4:30am and get home sometimes by 9:30. But I get home every night tired and hungry and my husband expects
The Standard Hotel, New York, venue where Solange's attack on JayZ occurred, announced on Wednesday that it has discovered and fired the person behind the leak of the tape that showed Beyonce's sister hitting Jay Z during an argument in one of its elevators.
According to the Associated Press, the hotel said the person had been terminated for "breaching the security polices of the hotel and recording the confidential CCTV video." The hotel said after the
