|Opulent: The drawing room in Joan Rivers' Upper East Side condo is a sea of pink and gold velvet, with a grand piano in the corner, lit by three glittering chandeliers|
Guys, check out these photos from Joan Rivers' New York home. Dripping with chandeliers and lined with gold, the limestone mansion was built in 1910 for society figure John R Drexel and his socialite wife. Finally, in the 1980s, Rivers descended on the lavish property, called in developers to strip away layers of paint and coat it with gold.
Joan's living room ceilings scaled 30ft-high, and velvet drapes framed the vast windows. The 5,000-square-foot penthouse is held up by gold pillars. And in every corner of the opulent New York apartment sit stacks of index cards with jokes spanning her entire career.
The comedienne, who died last week at the age of 81, once described the Upper East Side condo as 'where Marie Antoinette would have lived if she had the money'. Scroll down to see more photos. And you know how we do it here - you are sooo allowed to drool and tell. *winks*

Pastor Christian Oyakhilome has finally addressed the allegations leveled against him after more than a week of maintaining silence on the divorce suit filed against him by his wife,
Speaking on Sunday evening during the monthly global communion service of the church, he said the allegations were “crazy” and “stupid”. Oyakhilome acknowledged that divorce is unbiblical but suggested he could consider the option should his wife insist on it. He also criticized the media for prying into his private life and urged members of his church to pray for his estranged wife.
I understand that some media houses particularly in Nigeria and maybe in South Africa (I don't know) but there are some of them that have been writing some real stupid things...real stupid things, and errrrhh...frivolous charges...that's crazy.

If not for death, the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, the country’s regulatory agency for the practice of medicine, would have disciplined the late Dr. Iyke Enemuo because he acted like a traditional healer.
Enemuo died after contracting the Ebola Virus Disease from the ECOWAS diplomat, Olubukun Koye, whom he treated in a Port-Harcourt hotel. Fielding questions from journalists in Abuja, the Registrar of MDCN, Dr. Abdulmumuni Ibrahim, condemned the decision of the late doctor to treat a patient suffering from a contagious disease in a hotel.
While describing Enemuo’s action as highly unethical, Ibrahim said it was wrong to treat a patient outside a medical facility.
“It is very unfortunate that he died. But what he did was very wrong. In fact, orthodox
