Dencia Lashes Out At BET Awards For Disrespecting African Artistes

Before we even start at what she said to and about the BET awards, check out Dencia’s outfit at the event. Madt shape!
So, some hours ago Cameroonian/Nigerian singer Dencia who was at the BET Awards with Iceprince took to Twitter to express her displeasure at what she thinks is totally rude..
According to Dencia, Ice Prince received his award with none of the big international stars in the audience but somehow BET got to edit Iceprince’s video and made it appear he was in front of the live audience.

It turns out this year, Iceprince’s BET award presentation was per-recorded on stage unlike in previous years when the awards were presented to winners in a room, backstage.

The taping was done hours ahead of the main ceremony.

Video of Iceprince receiving his BET Awards is also after the cut.

What do you think?

Well african are the ones allowing emselves to be disrespected like dis… I dnt see why u cnt reject an award if it wont be given to u the proper way…. Awards or no awards once ur true to ur art success and true recognition will cum ur way…. Which kind yeye doctored recognition be dis one huh? Very annoying…. No joke

Imagine the rubbish!!..The black americans are even more racist than the whites.

Ordinarily such events should be boycotted by the africans until they are truly recognised as part of d whole thing but no so much importance is placed on the number of plaques and awards U have on your mantle notwithstanding that you receieved them in a demeaning manner.

The next one na for toilet them go give them.yeye!!..I'm so pissed!!

Imagine the trauma for Africa listening to one of our own winning an award but not on stage . Well it was expected but also devastating.. Black on Black racial differences ..This is not a first…

BET repeats the same thing year in year out that is just being racist to our own people. The artists should just receive the awards in the comfort of their homes.

Next year they will still travel to receive the same award ….smh!! Boycott BET.

I hope they're not still blaming their African brothers for selling them to the slave masters. Maybe this is their way of paying us back.
