Tiwa Savage Signs N30m Endorsement Deal With MTN

Big congratulations to Tiwa.

The pretty singer, today Wednesday July 17th signed a contract with telecoms giant, MTN.
Adding her to the list of top Nigerian artistes already signed on as MTN ambassadors.

I learnt the deal is worth N30million.
You recall that Wizkid was said to have earned close to N45million from his own deal with MTN, while Davido signed close to N32 million.

Instead of spending money to improve their tuke tuke network they are robbing their subscribers blind and endorsing ambassadors. What this really earns them I don't get.

The amount of money these companies part with sometimes you would think Nigerians were balling like that.

But I'm sure their terms will be strict__like you can't perform in shows sponsored by rival companies etc. And not just being the face of MTN.

Too much money in Nigeria but it's only going into the hands of certain people. Hope they remember the less privileged from time to time at least.

This Telecommunication Companies have this Idiotic business strategy and therefore require Celebrities and not ordinary folks like you and i as Ambassadors but in their ruthless rules they have fallen short of great connectivity …..As an Economist i don't suscribe to this idea as everyone needs to be given a chance to ensure there is circulation of money in the economy and to mitigate the vicious circle of poverty.
