Demetris Payne from Louisiana, who found another way to keep her son who got suspended from school for 3 days productive and motivated to stay on track has been hailed by parents across United States.
Demetris who shared photos of her suspended son who did some yard work and other odd jobs around the neighborhood for free on Facebook, wrote;
“My son has been suspended for three days from school for discipline. He will do your lawn service, he will rake your yard, mow if you supply the mower, pick up trash, or wash your car for free. Maximum three hours. If anyone has a rake they would like to donate will be awesome.”
The act earned her some accolades on Facebook as she had to create a schedule to accommodate all the requests she received in response to her initial post, while keeping her followers updated with her son’s 3 days job.
On the last day which was on Tuesday, she shared the goodnews of her son getting back to school and also wrote;
“Look who’s back at school. “Meeting with all his teachers and set up a plan so we can make sure he stays on track.”
